A Pacific Northwest native, Scott first got the idea to be a coder from his dad, himself a programmer (writing COBOL and Fortran – yikes!). Starting his career in IT, he veered off into graphic and publication design, which was fun but not very lucrative. He eventually found web development and now considers it to be his true calling. That assertion gets tested every day because of the variation in projects he gets to work on at Bizango.
When not in front of a computer he likes to golf in whatever weather Mother Nature gives him. He’s also an ordained non-denominational minister, a player of stringed instruments and a maker of fermented beverages. He runs ISFJ to INTJ, depending on the time of day.
